The Oracle's Call
The CricMind Oracle locked Pakistan as favourites before the toss, at 74% to Sri Lanka's 26%, so this call was a miss. Pakistan came in at home, rated sixth against Sri Lanka's seventh, and with four wins in their last five matches. By the Oracle's numbers, Sri Lanka had roughly a one-in-four chance, which makes the size of this win a genuine upset. You can read the full Oracle call and follow every result on the Pakistan ODI Tri-Series hub.
It was Sri Lanka's second win of the tri-series so far, after a two-wicket victory with one ball to spare in the third match. Pakistan had won the first, second and fourth matches. Every graded call, this one included, goes into the Oracle report card.
