Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CricMind.ai. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.

By accessing or using CricMind.ai ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

CricMind.ai is operated by CricMind Technologies, supported by Unified Investments LLC, Dubai.

CricMind.ai reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through on-platform announcements. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any modification, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform.

These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy (cricmind.ai/privacy), Disclaimer (cricmind.ai/disclaimer), and Legal Notice (cricmind.ai/legal), which together constitute the complete legal framework governing your use of CricMind.ai.

CricMind.ai is an AI-powered cricket intelligence platform that provides:

  - Match predictions and win probability analysis powered by the Oracle Prediction Engine
  - Player performance profiles and DNA analysis across 6 dimensions
  - Live match intelligence and ball-by-ball analysis during IPL matches
  - Historical IPL data and records covering all seasons from 2008 to 2025
  - AI-generated editorial content, analysis articles, and deep-dive reports
  - Fan prediction voting and community leaderboards
  - The Argument Settler feature for data-driven resolution of cricket debates
  - Head-to-head team comparison pages for all 45 IPL team combinations
  - Venue intelligence profiles with pitch analysis and historical scoring data
  - IPL history pages covering every season with champions, runners-up, and key statistics

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CricMind.ai does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of any content or predictions.

Service availability may vary based on factors including internet connectivity, third-party API status (Roanuz Cricket API), server load, and scheduled maintenance. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time without prior notice.

IMPORTANT: All predictions, analysis, editorial articles, and insights on CricMind.ai are generated by artificial intelligence systems, including large language models (Anthropic Claude) and proprietary mathematical prediction engines.

Users must understand and acknowledge the following:

  > AI content is clearly labelled throughout the Platform with "AI-generated analysis" tags.
  > Predictions are probabilistic estimates based on historical data, NOT certainties.
  > AI analysis may contain factual errors, statistical inaccuracies, or outdated information.
  > Past prediction accuracy does not guarantee future results or model performance.
  > AI systems do not possess insider knowledge, human intuition, or domain expertise.
  > The Oracle Prediction Engine achieves approximately 58-65% accuracy on pre-match predictions, which is comparable to professional betting market accuracy but far from infallible.

CricMind.ai does NOT claim to predict match outcomes with certainty. All AI-generated content should be treated as analytical commentary derived from statistical modelling, not as factual assertions about future events.

We maintain a public accuracy tracker at cricmind.ai/leaderboard that records every prediction and its actual outcome. We do not alter, suppress, or retroactively modify predictions after they are published.

The AI systems used by CricMind.ai are tools that process data algorithmically. They do not have access to information beyond their training data and the cricket datasets we provide. They cannot account for last-minute changes such as injuries, team selection surprises, weather changes, or other unpredictable factors that may significantly affect match outcomes.

ALL PREDICTIONS ON CRICMIND.AI ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

Users expressly acknowledge and agree to the following:

  - Predictions are NOT betting advice, tips, or recommendations.
  - Predictions are NOT financial advice or investment recommendations.
  - Predictions should NOT be used for gambling, wagering, or betting decisions.
  - CricMind.ai does NOT facilitate, encourage, promote, or endorse betting or gambling of any kind.
  - CricMind.ai does NOT accept advertising from betting operators or fantasy gaming platforms.
  - CricMind.ai does NOT provide odds, spreads, lines, or other gambling-specific metrics.

Users are solely responsible for their own decisions and actions. CricMind.ai accepts no liability for any losses, damages, financial harm, or other adverse consequences arising from reliance on AI predictions, analysis, or any other content published on the Platform.

CricMind.ai is an editorial and analytical journalism platform, not a betting platform, fantasy sports platform, or financial advisory service.

The fan prediction voting feature on CricMind.ai is a free engagement mechanism with no monetary stakes, prizes, or financial implications. Fan votes contribute to community consensus statistics and leaderboard rankings only. The leaderboard is a reputation-based system that tracks prediction accuracy -- it does not involve money, prizes, or any form of compensation.

CricMind.ai is an INDEPENDENT analytical platform. Users must understand that:

  - We are NOT affiliated with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
  - We are NOT affiliated with the Indian Premier League (IPL).
  - We are NOT affiliated with any IPL franchise, team, or their management.
  - We are NOT an official source of IPL data, statistics, or match information.
  - We are NOT affiliated with any official IPL broadcaster (Star Sports, JioCinema, etc.).
  - We are NOT affiliated with any official IPL sponsor or commercial partner.
  - We are NOT affiliated with the International Cricket Council (ICC) or any national cricket board.

All use of team names, player names, tournament references, venue names, and related terminology is purely editorial and for identification purposes, consistent with the standards of cricket journalism and sports commentary.

"IPL" and "Indian Premier League" are registered trademarks of the BCCI. All other team names, logos, and related marks are the property of their respective franchise owners. CricMind.ai does not use official team logos -- teams are identified by their colour schemes. Player representations use stylised silhouettes rather than actual photographs.

CricMind.ai's use of these marks constitutes fair use for the purposes of news reporting, commentary, criticism, and educational analysis under applicable Indian and international intellectual property law.

Account creation is optional for basic Platform use. CricMind.ai offers two authentication methods: Google OAuth and email-based one-time password (OTP). We do not use traditional password-based authentication.

When you create an account, you agree to the following:

  - You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  - You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials and access tokens.
  - You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
  - You must notify us immediately at hello@cricmind.ai of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
  - You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorised by you or not.
  - You must not create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing rate limits, access controls, or these Terms.

Account data we collect includes: email address, display name (from Google profile or user input), favourite team preference, and favourite player selections. This data is used to personalise your experience on the Platform in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice and without obligation to provide reasons. Upon termination, we may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policies.

Users under the age of 18 may create accounts only with verifiable parental or guardian consent. Users under the age of 13 may not create accounts on CricMind.ai.

CricMind.ai offers two access tiers:

FREE TIER (available to all users, no account required):
  - Match predictions (result and key factors)
  - Basic player statistics and profiles
  - Live scores during IPL matches
  - Post-match summaries (available 24 hours after match completion)
  - Up to 3 AI insights per match
  - Standard analysis articles
  - Fan prediction voting
  - Head-to-head comparison pages
  - IPL history and records pages

CRICMIND PRO (paid one-time access pass):
  - Pricing: Rs. 499 one-time payment (as displayed on cricmind.ai/premium)
  - Access period: Full IPL 2026 season (March 28 - May 31, 2026)
  - Full Oracle Prediction Engine output (all 17 factors, complete reasoning, Monte Carlo visualisation)
  - Unlimited live ball-by-ball AI intelligence during matches
  - Complete Player DNA profiles with all 6 performance dimensions
  - Win probability with confidence intervals and historical annotations
  - Pressure Index live tracker
  - All data visualisations (wagon wheel, Manhattan chart, field placement)
  - Post-match deep debrief (available immediately after match completion)
  - Unlimited Argument Settler queries
  - Ad-free experience
  - Match Simulator feature
  - Player Scout analysis tool

CricMind.ai reserves the right to modify the features included in each tier. Material changes to Premium features will be communicated with at least 30 days notice. Free tier features may be modified at any time without notice.

CricMind Pro is available as a one-time payment processed through Stripe, Inc. By purchasing CricMind Pro, you agree to the following payment terms:

PRICING:
  - CricMind Pro: Rs. 499 one-time payment (prices displayed in INR)
  - Prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
  - CricMind.ai reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice

BILLING:
  - Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  - CricMind.ai never stores your credit card, debit card, or UPI details directly
  - All payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards
  - Supported payment methods: credit card, debit card, UPI, and other methods supported by Stripe in India

REFUND POLICY:
  - All sales are final. No refunds will be issued after purchase.
  - If you experience technical issues that prevent you from accessing Premium features, please contact hello@cricmind.ai within 7 days of purchase and we will work to resolve the issue.
  - In cases of demonstrable technical failure attributable to CricMind.ai that prevents Premium access for more than 7 consecutive days, we may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.

ACCESS:
  - Premium access begins immediately upon successful payment confirmation.
  - Access is tied to your user account and is non-transferable.
  - Access expires at the end of the IPL 2026 season (May 31, 2026) regardless of purchase date.
  - We do not offer pro-rated pricing for mid-season purchases.

By using CricMind.ai, you agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  [01]  Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  [02]  Scrape, crawl, spider, or systematically harvest data from the Platform without authorisation through our documented Public API
  [03]  Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the algorithms, model weights, training data, or proprietary methodologies of the Oracle Prediction Engine or any other CricMind.ai system
  [04]  Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform's infrastructure, servers, databases, APIs, or security systems
  [05]  Impersonate any person, entity, or CricMind.ai representative, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  [06]  Use the Platform to distribute spam, malware, viruses, trojan horses, or other malicious code or content
  [07]  Circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, access controls, authentication mechanisms, paywalls, or any other security or protective features
  [08]  Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit Platform content without a valid API licence agreement obtained from api@cricmind.ai
  [09]  Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or software to access the Platform beyond the documented Public API endpoints and their published rate limits
  [10]  Post, submit, or transmit abusive, hateful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory content
  [11]  Use CricMind.ai content to create derivative works that misrepresent the source, accuracy, or nature of the analysis
  [12]  Frame, embed, mirror, or deep-link CricMind.ai pages on third-party websites without express written permission
  [13]  Use the Platform to promote, facilitate, or encourage betting, gambling, wagering, or any form of financial speculation on cricket outcomes
  [14]  Create fake accounts, use stolen credentials, or engage in any form of identity fraud

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of access, account suspension, IP blocking, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

All original content on CricMind.ai is owned by or licenced to CricMind Technologies:

  > AI-GENERATED CONTENT
    Analysis, predictions, editorial articles, and insights generated by our AI systems and the Oracle Prediction Engine are the intellectual property of CricMind.ai. This includes the unique selection, arrangement, and analytical interpretation of cricket data.

  > PLATFORM DESIGN
    The CricMind.ai brand, visual identity, design system (including colour palette, typography choices, and component library), and user interface are proprietary to CricMind.ai.

  > DATA VISUALISATIONS
    Custom cricket visualisations including wagon wheel charts, Manhattan charts, win probability curves, pressure index gauges, player DNA radar charts, and all other graphical representations are proprietary to CricMind.ai.

  > SOFTWARE AND ALGORITHMS
    The Oracle Prediction Engine, including its 17-factor weighted model, Monte Carlo simulation methodology, and three-layer architecture (Macro, Meso, Micro), is proprietary intellectual property.

  > BRAND ASSETS
    The CricMind name, logo, wordmark, tagline ("The AI Brain Behind Every IPL Match"), and all related brand assets are trademarks of CricMind Technologies.

  > USER CONTENT
    By submitting predictions, votes, comments, or other content to the Platform, you grant CricMind.ai a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute that content on the Platform and in promotional materials. You retain ownership of your original content.

Cricket statistics and historical match data are factual information and are not copyrightable. CricMind.ai's unique analysis and presentation of that data is protected.

CricMind.ai allows users to submit certain content, including fan prediction votes, favourite team/player preferences, and participation in community features. By submitting content to the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

  - You own or have the necessary rights to submit the content.
  - The content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  - The content does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
  - The content does not contain false, misleading, defamatory, or harmful information.
  - The content complies with these Terms and our acceptable use guidelines.

CricMind.ai reserves the right to remove, modify, or refuse to display any user-generated content that, in our sole judgment, violates these Terms, is inappropriate, or could harm the Platform or its users.

Fan prediction votes and leaderboard data are aggregated and displayed publicly. Your individual votes are associated with your account for your personal prediction history. Community consensus percentages derived from aggregate voting data may be used in CricMind.ai marketing, social media, and promotional materials.

CricMind.ai is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-generated content. User opinions, predictions, and comments do not represent the views of CricMind.ai.

The CricMind.ai Public API (/api/v1/*) provides programmatic access to prediction data, player analysis, and match intelligence. Use of the API is subject to the following terms:

AUTHENTICATION:
  - All API requests require a valid API key obtained through registration at api@cricmind.ai.
  - API keys are personal and non-transferable. Sharing API keys is prohibited.
  - CricMind.ai reserves the right to revoke API keys at any time for violation of these terms.

RATE LIMITS:
  - Free tier: 100 requests per day
  - Pro tier ($49/month): 10,000 requests per day, webhook access
  - Enterprise tier (custom pricing): unlimited requests, dedicated SLA, white-label options
  - Exceeding rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses and potential key suspension.

USAGE RESTRICTIONS:
  - API responses may not be redistributed, resold, or syndicated without a valid licence agreement.
  - Bulk data extraction beyond published rate limits is prohibited.
  - API data must not be used to create competing products or services without express written consent.
  - Attribution to CricMind.ai is required when displaying API-sourced data publicly.
  - API data must not be cached for periods exceeding 24 hours unless otherwise specified in the API documentation.

SLA:
  - Service Level Agreements apply only to Enterprise tier customers with signed contracts.
  - Free and Pro tier API access is provided on a best-effort basis without uptime guarantees.

Abuse of the API, including but not limited to exceeding rate limits, attempting to extract proprietary model data, or using API data for prohibited purposes, will result in immediate key revocation without notice or refund.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

CricMind.ai, its operators, founders, employees, contractors, agents, technology partners, data providers, and affiliates shall NOT be liable for:

  - Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
  - Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
  - Service interruptions, downtime, or data inaccuracies
  - Decisions made based on AI predictions, analysis, or any other content on the Platform
  - Third-party service outages affecting Platform functionality (including Roanuz API, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, or Firebase)
  - Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data or transmissions
  - Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  - Any loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

In no event shall CricMind.ai's total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the use of the Platform exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to CricMind.ai in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, CricMind.ai's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CricMind.ai, its operators, founders, employees, contractors, agents, technology partners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and court costs) arising from or related to:

  - Your use of or access to the Platform, including any data or content transmitted or received
  - Your violation of these Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or any other applicable CricMind.ai policy
  - Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual property rights and privacy rights)
  - Content you submit, post, or transmit through the Platform
  - Your use of CricMind.ai content for purposes prohibited by these Terms (including but not limited to betting, gambling, or commercial redistribution without licence)
  - Any dispute between you and a third party arising from your use of the Platform

CricMind.ai reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claims. You agree not to settle any such matter without the prior written consent of CricMind.ai.

This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and these Terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCESS:

Step 1 - Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@cricmind.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will endeavour to respond within 14 business days.

Step 2 - Mediation: If informal resolution is unsuccessful within 30 days, either party may propose mediation through a mutually agreed-upon mediator in New Delhi.

Step 3 - Arbitration: If mediation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The arbitration shall be conducted in English, in New Delhi, by a sole arbitrator.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER: To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits, class-wide arbitration, or representative proceedings against CricMind.ai.

CricMind.ai may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  - Violation of these Terms of Service
  - Violation of our acceptable use guidelines
  - Engagement in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  - Extended period of account inactivity (more than 12 months)
  - Request from law enforcement or regulatory authorities
  - Technical or security concerns
  - Discontinuation of the Platform or any of its features

Upon termination:
  - Your right to access and use the Platform ceases immediately
  - We may delete your account data, including prediction history, preferences, and settings
  - Any Premium access purchased will be forfeited without refund
  - You must cease all use of CricMind.ai content and delete any cached or stored copies

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@cricmind.ai. Account termination requests will be processed within 30 days.

The following provisions of these Terms shall survive termination: Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

ACCURACY DISCLAIMER: While CricMind.ai strives for accuracy in all content, we do not warrant that any information, prediction, statistic, or analysis on the Platform is accurate, complete, current, or error-free. Cricket is an inherently unpredictable sport, and our models reflect historical patterns that may not apply to future events.

AVAILABILITY DISCLAIMER: CricMind.ai does not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times. The Platform may be subject to downtime for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control. Live match features depend on third-party data providers whose availability we cannot guarantee.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES DISCLAIMER: CricMind.ai relies on third-party services including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Roanuz (cricket data), Firebase (real-time data), and PostHog (analytics). We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or service disruptions caused by these third-party providers.

SECURITY DISCLAIMER: While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

EXTERNAL LINKS DISCLAIMER: CricMind.ai may contain links to third-party websites. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content or practices of these websites.

CricMind.ai reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will:
  - Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  - Post a notice on the Platform for at least 14 days
  - Where feasible, notify registered users via email

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you must discontinue use of the Platform and, if applicable, delete your account.

We recommend bookmarking this page and checking it regularly for updates.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, invalid, or illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

The failure of CricMind.ai to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any right or provision will only be effective if it is in writing and signed by an authorised representative of CricMind.ai.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Legal Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and CricMind.ai regarding your use of the Platform, and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written.
