About the numbers

Where do these numbers come from?

Every delivery in the Cricsheet ball-by-ball archive: Tests, ODIs and T20 internationals plus the major T20 leagues. Coverage starts in the early 2000s, so careers that began earlier are incomplete — the page always says what the archive holds rather than guessing.

Why does the T20 column mix internationals and leagues?

A player’s T20 record is built in both. The figures combine T20 internationals with franchise leagues such as the IPL, BBL and The Hundred.

What does green mean?

The better of the two figures on that line — higher runs, average and strike rate; lower bowling average and economy. Match counts are not scored. Bowling lines appear once either player has bowled 20 overs or taken five wickets in the format.

Teams instead of players? The Matchup Machine gives the Oracle's call for any two sides. All-time leaderboards live in records.
